The Methodist Church in Sittingbourne held a harvest festival with a difference on Sunday.
As well as the traditional display of food a number of products made by the business community were on show to highlight industry year 1986.
About a dozen local firms donated or loaned examples of their work, ranging from traditional products such as paper and bricks to mew computer technology.
There was a morning family parade service and an evening service with the theme of "the world at work."
Both were conducted by the Rev. David Wright, an industrial chaplain who works in the Gravesend area.
The Methodist church's minister, the Rev. Bill Prince, said: "Because this is industry year, we thought we would use the term industrial harvest."
A harvest supper, was held on Monday night at the Methodist hall by the young people of the church.
The food produce was later distributed to housebound people and to those living alone.
